Earning Money Online
Yes, today I am going to write an article on making money online! I am not going to say how much money I make, or if I make any money at all. But, I am going to discuss the finer points of making cash on the web.
Everyone asks me, from my friends to my dad - How can you make money online? Every time, I am asked that question, I am quite frankly stumped and don't know what to say, in fact, I am not going to say how to make money right now either. Every time, I am asked that question, I just try to dodge it or just dismiss it. The reason is that its jump impossible for them to just jump in and start raking cash as if it was some undiscovered gold mine. Frankly, it is very hard to make money on the web, and I am going to contract with my earlier statement and say it is very easy (de-emphasize that word) to make money on the web.
Making Money Online contd..
If you are serious about making money online, then here are my suggestions and goals. In my opinion, a decent earning from online work is about $1000 a month. Anything less, in my opinion you have a lot of work to do. A lot of people ask me and others in general, what do they do online, or what kind of website they run. The idea is for them to mimic me or other webmasters so that they can emulate it. The problem is, it will never work. The people who got this far, had to do a lot of work and were passionate or know a lot about the topic their website is involved it. So, for example Mr. John Doe set up a medical site that is dedicated to advanced breakthroughs, you can't just mimic it. Your interests and his interests aren't the same, no matter how much you think, you can adopt it to your own. People usually set up a site (one that mimics a successful site owner), they run it for 3 months and the site goes nowhere, and is usually abandoned. This happens to be case with most webmasters in my opinion. For the most part, they move like nomads - they don't find the medical site working so they fold it and move on to travel. Most of these webmasters move on from site to site, and end up nowhere, while total newbies who started out a lot later than them are very successful.
In my opinion, if you are serious about making money, here are some to do things that you should do. You may have heard it again, and think that it is just repetitious - Let me just tell you that its the truth (The Things to watch out for, I mean)! Focus on original and unique content - A lot of people just recycle material on the web on their sites. This doesn't really help your case, as it will always be the original author that will benefit. Try to find a niche, usually something that interests you. At this point, I don't think you will find a topic that hasn't been covered on the Internet, with a thousand sites competing within that section. Try to use your personal interest in that topic as your advantage or strength. As told before most people just recycle things, so a unique content - that interests people will definitely get you audience. If after 3 months, nothing works out - don't quit. That is one of the biggest mistakes people make - they quit. Don't do that mistake. Hang on, and if possible try to keep the site alive by posting at least one or three articles a week. Don't go into link exchange programs. In my opinion, link exchange programs hurt a site rather than benefit it. Let people link your site naturally, this way all sites that link to you have a genuine interest in linking to your site rather than just trying to bolster their own popularity.
I am going to publish more about making money online in my next article. For the moment, you have to be content with this!
