Microsoft Financial Analysis Info
I just wanted to update everyone about the Microsoft Financial Analysis. As some of the regular viewers may know, I am supposed to finish Microsoft Financial Analysis after I am done with Apple, Inc. (AAPL), and then followed my Exxon Mobil Corporation (XOM). Since, I was done with my Apple Financial Analysis yesterday, I am going to be able to start and finish Microsoft (MSFT) financial analysis tomorrow. As usual, my financial analysis will start by pre-financial assumptions about Microsoft. Let me tell you here right now, I do not believe Microsoft to be an efficient corporation, it is such a behemoth that it is like an elephant, and not a lean mean cheetah it is supposed to be.
Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) closed today at $31.11, up .35%. It opened at $30.72, and was trading after hours at $31.08. Microsoft competitors Oracle Corporation (ORCL) closed at $17.27, up .88%, Novell, Inc. (NOVL) traded at $6.69 – down .45%, Apple, Inc. (AAPL) traded at $88.50 – down .64%, and Google Inc. traded at $489.75 up .39% or $1.92.
On news developments, it appears that Microsoft has been collaborating with some of its own rivals including Oracle Corporation (ORCL), abandoning its past practice of going it alone and creating an enemy list, because of the competitive and complex market. Microsoft (MSFT) for example has collaborated with SAP AG (ADR) (Public, NYSE:SAP), to unveil a significant enhancement to “Duet”. On unified communications, Microsoft partnered with Nortel Networks Corporation (NT), introducing 3 new products and a road map to provide corporations with a single tool for integrated voice, IM, and email communication.
