Star Trek Trailer and 2012 Trailer during Jame Bond Movie Quantum of Solace
When I went to watch James Bond Movie - Quantum of Solace, one of the things I was looking forward to was the trailer of Star Trek movie. I read about the description of the trailer in a fews blogs who had the chance to see it in some special screening, and later on watched a theatre version on Youtube. Since the bootleg copy was no good, I was looking forward to seeing it in big screen, and I have to say, I was quite satisfied with it.

I don't call myself Trekkie, but I have watched all of the Star Trek shows, barring the movies, with Deep Space Nine being my favorite in the franchise. After watching the trailer, I must say that I am looking forward to the movie, and I don't think it would be like a typical Trek Movie, and I quite frankly I don't see any reason to complain; although being a "non-trek" movie might upset the Trekkie fans out there. I especially the soundtrack and the way it builds up, kudos for that.
Speaking of Quantum of Solace, I seriously didn't understand the movie at all, and quite frankly found it to be tedious and dragging, didn't enjoy the movie at all. Some of the trailers that were shown included Will Smith's "Seven Pounds", and another World Ending Epic called "2012" - lets just say the trailer itself was EPIC.

When I first saw the first few glimpses of the trailer with Tibetan Monk running, I thought it was some religious / horror movie, or a documentary type of movie on their sufferings, and boy was I wrong. The image of Himalayas being swept by massive waves is a sight to behold.
