My pages going supplemental saga!
Well, today I checked Google, and guess what? There were more supplemental changes! When I checked my Google pages yesterday, a good portion of my pages went from supplemental to normal index, excel ExxonMobil Corporation Stocks. This leads me to believe that linking structure on my site isn't effective. My main subsections of the site, Business, Financial Analysis, and Stock Market moved away from Supplemental index to normal index. This was encouraging to me because, this means that I am not being penalized based on the content but rather my poor linking structure. This also explains the drop in the traffic of my site as Nike Financial Analysis article used to attract the biggest portion of traffic, and that went to supplemental - which led to a drastic drop of traffic to my site.
Since, I do no know other ways to control my supplemental, I am going to link all the uber-old articles here, this way I would ensure that all the old articles are linked from the main page. Thus assuring the pages don't go supplemental.
My Supplemental Index Pages are :
ExxonMobil Corporation Stocks - This article was basically a rundown of ExxonMobil as of January 30.
New York - I am not a New York Person, and I basically rant as to why I would never live in New York City along with my future plans of how I will move from Michigan to Chicago or maybe some place very warm.
New To Blogs - I was extremely confused when I first started using weblogs. I didn't know what trackbacks were or how they were used. In this article I talk about my "newbishness" at this blog phenomenon.
New To Blogs - Just like the above article, New to Blogs was written to express my confusion at the trackbacks of blogging world.
SEC Filings Guide - I came across an article online that simply summed up what SEC forms were. This was a very useful article for me as it clearly explained SEC jargon
Final Exams - Boy was I glad to write this article. My fall semester was finally over. Although, I didn't do "good" in my accounting exam or class, overall I was very pleased with my performance in the semester. I thoroughly enjoyed my break, in fact I actually started Indews Financial after my Final Exams of Fall were over.
Portfolio Management Project - As most of you know, I am taking Portfolio Management this semester. This article was basically my intro of that class, and what a particular project in that course entailed.
Market Losers - I cover what are some of the worst performers in the stock market.
Microsoft Image Microsoft Perception / Image was bascially what I thought were misconceptions or shall I say stereotypes of Microsoft.
Ford Motor Company - Well, this article basically covers future outlook for Ford. Some interesting tidbits about Ford, when it became a Public Company, and when the company had its stock splits.
At the moment, these are the number of articles I am going to add in this report. I will cover the remainder of the articles in another report. I think I will divide them into Political Articles, General Articles, and Finance Articles, so I don't mix all articles.
If you guys have any suggestions for me to avoid my pages going supplemental or some novel idea of improving my linking structure, you guys are more than welcome to add your opinions.
