Swine Flue

Mexico Catches Swine Flu

Thousands have been found sick in Mexico because of a new virus called Swine Flu and at least 20 people are dead.

I wake up this morning to find another "World Catastrophe" News, the Swine Flu is here. My first reaction, "Swine Flue"? What the hell is the world coming to! I think we can all remember the Bird Flu (The Aviaf Flu or SARS) that struck Asia in 2003 and then in 2008. Now SARS was scary enough on the other side of the continent, and now we hear that Swine Flu is just right across the border in Mexico! It's almost as if we are waiting for a world epidemic to hit us.

The Swine flu has human virus, avian virus and pig virus from North America, and apparently it may be the newest of its kind. I sincerely hope they isolate this virus and identify people who have it, and quickly resolve this issue before it gets out of hand. From what I remember, bird flu caused full scale closures and quarantine in China, and I seriously do not want to entertain those thoughts.
