EquifaxMy Free Credit Report from Equifax

As I have posted numerous times on the blog, I am able to check my credit report for free once a year, and that time has come. The last time I used Equifax Credit Report was sometime in April of last year (the free one, and not the Equifax subscription), and this year I found nothing really surprising (which is good) or different. As usual, the Credit Report doesn't provide you with a Credit Score, it would have been nice if they did, but you have pay an addition $8 for a credit score, and I decided to pass on that.

I have managed to reduce my Debt To Credit Ratio to 2%, and haven't really opened any new credit cards, so I am hoping that this month there is some change in my credit score. Everything else is the same in the credit file, with Installments being the biggest account type. I think it will be much more of a balance when I have my car loan, it should definitely "diversify" my credit report. Also, my credit history isn't really that long, and in fact there isn't much of a significant difference between my oldest account, and my average account age.

Just as a note, if you have never checked your credit report, check it free at annualcreditreport.com, that's the address you want to use. Also remember, you are entitled to one, and only free credit report from each credit reporting agency, so don't check all your credit reports at once,
