When I was in High School, I was supposed to write a series of articles with one of them being a letter to a CEO of a company asking for a job. I don’t exactly remember the requirements of the paper, but from reading the letter I could infer that I was asking Mr. Gates for a job. I wrote this letter on June 2, 2003. In the letter I mention that I passed High School, which I didn’t at the time, but I was supposed to write to the employer as if I have already graduated from High School.

Dear Mr. Gates:

I am a young aspiring computer technician. I have recently become aware of a position at your company, in the R&D Department. I have sufficient belief that your company needs excellent and a dedicated personnel like me to further your company’s interest.

I would like you to review me so I could be part of your company. I would like to lead your research and development department, so that we could introduce new and innovative products that will blow the competition away. I already have new ideas that will place your company ahead of not only ahead of your competition but also have a major dominance in the market share.

My education credentials are excellent. I have just passed High School with flying colors. I have taken adequate courses that would challenge me in the future. I have experience in web designing, graphic arts, other vital experience necessary to work on computers and latest technology.

I hope you are interested by my proposal and you will consider it. I am very interested in being part of your ever-growing corporation and I am confident that I can contribute more than enough for your company’s success. I will be waiting for your response. Than you for your consideration, and have a nice day.

Sincerely,

Me
