I just want to say that I am new to weblogging and all of these trackbacks and comments have created enough confusion for me. I do understand what comments are but I still haven't been able to wrap my mind around trackbacks. For the moment, I have a couple trackbacks and have approved them, but beyond that I don't know what to make of it. So guys, I urge you to please be patient while I completely understand blogging 101!
I am trying to return the favor of the trackbacks that I have, although I am not sure if I am supposed to do that. If they have referred to my article, it obviously means that they like the content of the article, and wanted to link to it. But, I did read on one of the blogs where it said that it was good neighbor policy to return the favor. So, I have to add a link to the site that linked to me as a show of good faith. Now, I am torn on what to do. For the moment, I have decided to do nothing, and just watch what happens. In the meanwhile, I will get around using blogs, and hopefully completely master on what to do on these particular occassions. I have also read that quite a few trackbacks are junk in nature, so I have to look out for them too.
