I have been submitting quite a few pages, and it has come to my attention, most of the pages aren't even indexed by Google. Now, Google happens to be the biggest search engine on the market, and it drives most of the traffic to my site or for the matter any site. Now, it is quite depressing to me that some of my hard worked pages have gone supplemental. For example, Microsoft Perception - one of the best articles I have written on Microsoft has gone supplement. This is bad news because if people start searching for information on Microsoft, or what people thought about Microsoft (people like me), they wouldn't be able to find my page because my pages have supplement. What does Supplemental do? Well, basically Google has a separate index, where some pages are just put there as extras, and are displayed at the end of results, literally meaning my pages are buried. That means, no one would be able to read them. This is bad because, if I spend over an hour to write an article and no one reads, I would have no motivation to continue writing.
It is possible that I am doing something wrong for making my pages go supplemental. Maybe, the whole navigation format of the site isn't right and people along with search engines aren't able to find the pages they want fast. Whatever the reason maybe, I am losing a lot of pages to supplemental index. Before this whole supplemental fiasco, my pages were usually indexed by Google usually a day or two after they are posted on the site. Now, they take forever to index. I definitely think there is some sort of problem, and that needs to be fixed soon, otherwise I will lose a whole lot than just visitors from Google. For those of who have read my Earning Money article, I think this is one of the most of the important things. If google or other search engines start ignoring you, all your hard work might go down the drain, as what is the point of having the greatest idea in the world, if no one has ever heard of you?
So, I am going to look into what's making this site going supplemental and hopefully prevent it. I don't know if any of you guys watch Heroes on NBC, but if you don't and have time on Monday evening at 9, I would definitely recommend it. It is one of the best shows on TV, and unfortunately runs at the same time 24 does on FOX. If you are 24 lovers, I would strongly suggest you guys to record it, or watch it online the next day, as Heroes is available online on NBC.com.
