Paying for College - International Student Loans
Getting loans is hard these days, and getting student loans is even harder. Since I am an international student, funding for my higher education has been almost close to impossible :(. I have looked for numerous options to fund for my education but haven't able to find one. All the existing student loans require you to be either a US Citizen or be a Permanent Resident - and I am neither. For the moment, the only way I could possibly fund my education is through a loan that is co-signed by a US Citizen or a Permanent Resident. There is one program that doesn't require a US Co-Signer and that is GlobalSLC, but my University doesn't participate in that program.
Below are some of the loan options I am aware of:
Loan Options
Sallie Mae (Sallie Mae Discretion)
CitiBank (24 Months)
Chase (36 Months Continous - Co-signor Release)
WellsFargo (Co-Signor Needs To Be A US Citizen)
If you guys know of any other loans for international students or a way for me to fund for my education, please let me. I would very much appreciate your help in this regard.
Thanks
