To Do List
Well, After an uber long delay, I finally published my Apple Financial Analysis. Althought, the financial analysis wasn't as brief as I wanted, I am nonetheless satisfied by it. I have devised a To Do List for myself. The list, require me to finish a certain goals over the period of one year from now. Some of the things that I decided were:
- Provide professional and comprehensive financial analysis of companies
- Provide at least 3-5 financial analysis and observation of corporations daily or write major events related to financial market.
- Take the CFA exam
- Take the GMAT exam
- Take the English Proficiency Exam for my college ( I have been too lazy)
- Take the Math Proficiency Exam (I know I have been way too lazy to delay it this long).
- Attend Investment Seminar / Workshop in Chicago in March
- Graduate next semester from College
- Master Portfolio Management
These are some of the things that I have to do, preferrable in 3 months. Some of these like English Proficiency and Math Proficiency are vey basic, but I have been too lazy to take them. I took AP English and AP Math in high school, and I can't believe that I have delayed taking these exams, which are elementary at best. I think the CFA exam is going to be hard, I have reviewed some of it, and haven't yet decided the date when I will take the exam. Prefferably, I would take the first set of the exam in March, and probably take GMAT in february. There is a seminar in Chicago, although I am not sure about the details of it, but some of my friends are going and it is supposed to be an investment seminar / workshop. So, I am definitely going to go to learn some skills, and I am apparently going to get credit in college for attending such course.
Graduating from college, is also one of my biggest priorites. I could have graduated this semester, if I wanted, but I decided to prolong it, and wrap up my college in spring/summer. I am pretty sure, that I will doing my MBA, but I am not sure if I wanted to complete it immediately after I graduate, or wait a year, get enough work experience, and then do my MBA.

The GMAT is valid for 5 years so there is no harm in getting it out of the way this year even if you don't want to go straight into an MBA.
I definitely recommend spending some time studying for the GMAT. Read some of these Tips from successful GMAT takers to a get a sense of what forms of preparation work.
