Who is Calling me at this hour?
Sometimes you just wonder who is calling me? And I have wondered A LOT these days. Since I use cell phone, whenever anyone calls, I usually know who it is calling, but there are sometimes you don't know who it is calling. When some tries to call you while having their phone number blocked, the dial pad usually shows up as "Private" (on Motorola Q9C) or "Blocked Call" (Palm Centro).
I didn't know that people could actually block their cell phone number from being displayed, but later came to catch on. A lot of times I thought when my phone number showed "Unknown" (on my Motorola Q9c), I thought those were blocked calls as well. Later on, I realized that it comes as "Unknown", if you are not on the Sprint Network or were roaming.
Now, I am not sure if there are any charges associated with make "Blocked Calls", but I came to know that one of my friends used "Blocked Calls" feature and she tells me that there is no charge associated with making such calls. Another question I have is, can I know who makes these blocked calls? I looked my monthly calling trends on Sprint online, and it just gives as "Unavailable" along with the time it was called and the number of minutes used. I am sure there must be someway to know who are making these "blocked calls"

I'll go a bit off topic now. I thought telemarketers weren't supposed to be marketing on Cell Phones, I thought it was strictly for land lines. Anyway, these days I am being bugged constantly by telemarketers who call at odd times, and one of the persistent buggers is Car Warranty sellers. I think these guys are scam, they call me up telling me (automated voice) that my car warranty is expiring and that I need to renew it. What I find really annoying about them is that, they call you and when you are about to pick up the phone, the end the call or if you do pick up the phone they hang up immediately. I mean what the hell? Someone should really charge these guys or something, as it gets to a point of extreme annoyance.
I wrote down a couple of these phone numbers, and I am guessing that there are many of you are out there who are getting frustrated by these bogus car warranty sellers. The numbers are usually 719-489-4304 or "Unknown Numbers".
