John McCain to meet up with possible Vice-Presidential Candidates this Friday.

Bobby Jindal for Vice Presidency? McCain-Jindal Ticket?

Just watched on CNN that John Mccain will meet up with Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal, Florida governor Charlie Crist, and Mitt Romney on Friday.

I think Bobby Jindal would make an interesting vice presidential candidate, he is considerably younger and is an Indian-American, which "could" possibly counter the appeal of Barrack Obama. One of the biggest complaints against McCain is that if elected, he would be the older President to assume office, Bobby Jindal at 36 would definitely ease some concerns, but with younger age comes the "inexperience tag". I am not rooting for Bobby Jindal because he is a fellow Indian-American, quite frankly, I wouldn't even vote for him, he is far too right for my taste. Bobby Jindal is too conservative for McCain, and by picking Bobby Jindal, I don't see how McCain can pass himself off as a maverick candidate.

My personal preference would be Mitt Romney. He seems to know what he is talking and doing, and seems to be well-versed in economic affairs, and with the current state of economy, it wouldn't hurt to have a CEO in the helm of Vice-Presidency. For me, Mitt Romney made an excellent Presidential Candidate, and I pretty sure, he would make a very good vice-presidential candidate as well.
