This is the Outline of the paper "Why Iraq's Democracy Will Fail" I published an hour or so ago! Its just the outline of the paper I published. Basically, I used this outline to do my powerpoint presentation.

Title: Iraq and Democracy

Topic: Why Democracy will fail in Iraq.

Thesis: In order to implement a democracy there are a few preconditions that are needed to be satisfied in order for the successful implementation of a democracy. Iraq fails these preconditions and as such cannot have a democracy.

Purpose: I want my audience to know more about democracy and how it will not be a successful form of government in Iraq. I also want input from the audience for my final paper.

1. Introduction

A. Iraq is one of the biggest events of our generation that will effect us for a long time to come, both financially and the way world perceives us.

Transition: During the process of doing my research, I have come across some issues that I would like to present.

2. One of the major premises of Iraq war was that it was producing Weapons of Mass Destruction and that there was a nexus between Saddam Hussein and Al-Quaida. We were also told that we were freeing the people of Iraq from Saddam's tyranny.

1. Weapons of Mass Destruction.
1. Our first major reason for was proved wrong when UN Weapon's inspector Hans Blix told Security Council On January 27, 2003 and on June 5, 2003 that he found no evidence that Iraq resumed its nuclear program.
2. On October 2 2003, U.S. weapons inspector David Kay told congressional intelligence committees that his team did not find any WMD's in Iraq.
2. President Bush alleged that Saddam and Al-quaida had a link.

1. According to the 9-11 commission, there was "no collaborative relationship between Saddam Hussein and the al-quaida terrorist network responsible for the attacks.

3. Freeing the Iraqi people from Saddam Hussein.(Focus of my Final Paper)

1. Iraq now has a new transitional government, and had recently held its first elections.

Transition: Before we go on discussing about democracy and Iraq, I would also like to talk about two of my interviewees.

1. Vanessa is one of my Chaldean friends.

1. According to her, Saddam was a lot better leader than President Bush. I do not know if the presenter by her, are hers alone or if its an accepted view among Chaldeans.

2. Faisal was my Arabic Muslim interviewee. I conducted my interview on a message board.
1. He strongly supported the war in Iraq, and said that Saddam was a murderer.

2. He also said that Saddam killed many members of his family and that he is glad that America liberated his nation.
