Illegal Immigration - Was watching CNN, and they reported that over 900 Illegal immigrants were arrested in Northern California. My first thought when I heard this was "Wow". How the hell on earth did they arrest 900 people who were here illegally?

It seems that if immigration officials want to tackle illegal immigration, they really can. It just seems that it more of a lack of will or hesitancy on their part in enforcing them. Now, I seriously don't think it is possible to remove over 12 million illegal immigrants unless scare tactics are adopted and that would probably only divide the country. Nonetheless, a stronger enforcement would probably discourage people from coming here in the future, and those who are here and haven't been able to carve out a future for themselves might also try to find greener pastures elsewhere.

In all this illegal immigration hoopla, I think LEGAL Immigrants are being forgotten, and their cause is being hijacked by the illegal immigration issue. People in America need to understand that immigration isn't just limited to Illegal Immigration, but there is Legal Immigration as well, and United States needs to reform its laws for Legal Immigrants as well, as many of the legal immigrants are stuck in visa backlogs with their lives uncertain.

As such, the lawmakers need to look into the sufferings of legal immigrants as well, and not ignore them because they are minuscule in numbers compared to 12 million illegal immigrants or aliens.
