I am watching CNN and apparently President Obama conceded that the Stimulus Plan is "Not Perfect". Okay, I understand that the stimulus plan isn't the final solution to all of our problems, but then what other plans and ideas does President Obama has planned? Infrastructure Spending sounds good, and hopefully it creates a lot of jobs, but what about the pessimistic sentiments? A lot of people who were employed at financial firms aren't going to be exactly employable in construction work. Jobs for these highly experienced and educated professionals can't be created out of thin air, and I am sure we can't just create jobs for them through infrastructure spending.
I don't want to sound pessimistic, but I just can't see what the President Obama can do to fix the financial mess. Half the TARP money is gone, and we don't know what happened to it. How the hell does one not know where hundreds of billion dollars were spent? It seems the government is good at screwing up things, and making bad things even worse. I also see President Obama talking about only the Stimulus Bill, but what about other plans? As I have said in my post earlier, I get the feeling that the administration hasn't thought beyond of passing the current stimilus bill.
