Apple Stock Manipulation

This article Apple Shares was written by me on January 28, 2007, but I never got around publishing the article. The article was in response to the SEC investigations of Stock Options irregularities in Apple Inc. What happened was that I spun off a new article from Apple Shares - "AAPL – Apple Computer, Inc", and I put the lid on the article.

Since my lost flash disk fiasco, I regularly save everything I write on my external hard drive. I was going through my saved files and came across this article, and I decided to take it out of the cold storage and post it. On a note, some of the information that is listed below might be dated as of January 28, 2007. I have updated some things, but this article will have information that pertains from that day along with current information as well.

In Apple, Inc. 10-K Annual Report, the company revealed that incorrect measurement dates were used for finance financial accounting purposes for certain stock option grants made in prior periods. The Special Committee found no misconduct by current management, and that the investigation found that CEO Steve Jobs was aware or recommended the selection of some favorable grant date, but he did not financially benefit from these grant.

Since there is a federal investigation going on Apple, Inc. for the irregularities in Stock options grants, I thought it would be appropriate to publish the biggest / largest shareholders of Apple, Inc.
