Yahoo Stock was traded in the after hours market at $29.29, up $0.17 or 0.58% at 7:59 PM ET.
For the year to date, Yahoo Stock provided a return of 14.02%. Yahoo stock opened the year on January 3rd at $25.61, and has been steadily climbing. Even after the stock market slump, the stock seemed to be quite resilient. Among its competitors Google, Microsoft, and Looksmart, Yahoo provided the best returns to its investors. Google and Microsoft both provided a negative return to their investors for the Year to Date. Compared to NASDAQ and the S&P 500, Yahoo Stock also outperformed the market. NASDAQ was down 1.14% for the Year to Date, while S&P 500 Index was down 1.09%.
