Getting my friends Sprint Sero
Well, I had another friend who was dissatisfied with Metro PCS and was looking around for cell phone plans. I suggested to him to get Sprint Sero, and he finally got the phone from Sprint day before yesterday.
He was quite annoyed with Metro PCS that they cut off his phone just because he missed paying his bill by one day. I don't really know much about Metro PCS, I think it was a prepaid plan. He had unlimited net, text messaging, and I am not sure about the number of minutes he had. After I suggested Sprint Sero, he took about 2 weeks to make the decision, and decided to go with the same phone as mine, Motorola Q9C.
He ordered it last Friday night, and received the phone on Thursday. I think Sprint people need to work on their order processing. Even though the phone was ordered on Friday night, I think they are open on Saturdays, so there is no reason in delaying of processing of the order. Also, he complained that Sprint Customer Service had no clue most of the time, so Sprint has to really work on its customer service.
After he got the phone, I helped him out getting all the applications onto his phone, and he was quite happy with Windows Live Search phone app. I also suggested him to get Palringo, and we spent about the next half an hour doing Walkie-Talkie aka Voice Chat on Palringo. I wish everyone of my friends had Palringo, on their phones, it would have been really good.
I also suggested Sprint Sero to one of my high school friends, and was quite surprised that such a deal existed, but unfortunately he is moving to California and apparently the Sprint service isn't that good over there, so he had to go with AT&T. I think he got himself a Samsung Blackjack II.
Well, that does it for my rambings on recruiting friends to Sprint Sero.
